Monitor Documents processing

The Monitor group is available with Documents administration access. It separates recorded user/system events, background work and notification delivery.

Audit events explain recorded actions; processing and delivery have their own views. Select image to enlarge.

View	Use it to answer
Activity Logs → Audit Trail	Who changed an item, and when?
Activity Logs → Background Jobs	Is indexing, extraction or another background operation queued, running or finished?
Outbox Events	Was a notification queued, retried, delivered or failed?
Document Workflow	Which business step is waiting, and what branch was taken?
AI Agents → Runs / Trace	What happened during a document read?

Begin with the affected document and approximate time. Follow its IDs/references into the relevant view. A delivered notification does not prove that its recipient has completed a task. A successful background job does not prove a document was approved.
